Caroline Gottlieb, Visible Ink Productions, and the Beverly Hills Playhouse have announced a new production of Tom Kempinski's critically-acclaimed drama Duet for One, set for a five-week run at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. Under the direction of Allen Barton, the cast will feature Mia Christou and Howard Leder. Opening is on Friday, April 12, at 8pm. The regular running schedule is Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7pm through May 12.

Over a four day heatwave in Ibiza, Robyn rented a jeep, played a gig and threw a party - and captured it all in the 'Between The Lines' video, directed by Cody Critcheloe aka SSION who previously collaborated with Robyn on her 'Love is Free' video. Inspired by the iconic Wham! The Kitchen presents an expansive new project from ANOHNI, beginning with LOVE, an exhibition of new works in painting and drawing, photography, sculpture, and archival video revolving in part around the figure of Antony and the Johnsons' late member Julia Yasuda; as well as an ambitious new theater piece, The Johnsons Present LOVE, building on the work of The Johnsons and Blacklips Performance Cult, two performance groups that ANOHNI founded in the 1990s. As in the exhibition, these performances will be composed of new work in addition to material from previous decades, featuring an incredible cast of artists, actors, and performers both familiar with and new to these writings: Charles Atlas, Matteah Baim, Michael Cavadias, Tom Cole, Johanna Constantine, Eliza Douglas, Scott Jackson, Connie Fleming, Lorraine O'Grady, Lola Naisse, Kembra Pfahler, Marti Wilkerson, and Colin Whitaker. On May 16, ANOHNI will be honored alongside sculptor Robert Gober at The Kitchen's Spring 2019 Gala.

New York Live Arts (Live Arts) to present the world premiere of Kota Yamazaki/Fluid Hug-Hug's Darkness Odyssey Part 3: Non-Opera, Becoming, April 3-6, 2019, having commissioned the work as part of the Live Feed Residency Program. A co-presentation with Mount Tremper Arts, the final installment of Yamazaki's Darkness Odyssey series, is a non-operatic dance celebrating the bridge between 'this self' and 'the other self.' Bessie Award winning Yamazaki magnifies the ever-changing state and process of 'becoming' while encouraging exchange between performers from different dance practices, and cultural backgrounds.
