Jazz singer Mark Winkler has just released a new album on singer Bobby Troup and will do a CD release party at Feinstein's Upstairs at Vitello's on August 23. In our chat, Winkler talks about his background, his love for Troup, jazz and the overall world of music. Tell our readers about your background. Where are you from? How did you get interested in music, especially jazz?

John Storie is musician / showman with a true comical wit, and abundant skills on the guitar. His new album'Ponderosa' is a folksy throwback to his early days, and some swinging straight ahead jazz. He recorded the album so it would hold different guitar sounds, texture and vocals. He is a longtime showman with much to sing about.

Huntington Theatre Company announced today that tickets to The Purists are now on sale to the general public. Today, The Black Keys release the music video for their new song “Go,” from their upcoming album “Let's Rock.” The video is directed by Bryan Schlam and finds the band struggling to reconnect after five years apart. Following The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 25th Silver Anniversary during the 2018/2019 Season, producers have unveiled WOB's upcoming 2019/2020 line-up.
