A vibrant and diverse cast of 14 LGBTQIA+ and Deaf performers will come together to perform Emma Frankland and Subira Joy's adaptation of John Lyly's early modern play Galatea at Brighton Festival, which was written in the 1580s and performed in front of Elizabeth I.

Red Balloon was released in May on Verve Records to widespread critical praise. Predominantly produced by Tank and the Bangas, the 16-track album includes contributions from Big Freedia, Alex Isley, Masego, Lalah Hathaway, Jacob Collier, Questlove, Trombone Shorty, Jamison Ross, The Ton3s, Georgia Anne Muldrow and Wayne Brady.

The Laurie Beechman Theatre will present Lorna Dallas in her latest musical feast, “Glamorous Nights and Rainy Days,” in a two-night engagement - Saturday, May 13 and Wednesday, May 17 - both shows at 7pm.

Factory International has announced the 2023 edition of Manchester International Festival (MIF) from 29 June to 16 July.
