THE DJANGO will bring another month of stellar jazz by some of the field’s heroes alongside young, emerging artists.

Today, Austin-based songwriter Tody Castillo released a new single entitled “What It Means To Be A Man” from his forthcoming album Old Rodriguez. Produced by Castillo and recorded with Grammy Award-winning engineer Steve Christensen (Steve Earle, Robert Ellis, Khruangbin, Paul McCartney), Old Rodriguez is set for release on April 8 via Athens, GA-based label Strolling Bones Records.

The Kennedy Center and the National Symphony Orchestra announced today the official celebration of John Williams’s 90th birthday with a three-day festival in June honoring the beloved American composer.

The countdown is on to the much anticipated Australian premiere of 9 TO 5 THE MUSICAL, Dolly Parton's smash-hit West End musical, which will open in February at the Capitol Theatre, Sydney, followed by a limited season at the Lyric Theatre, QPAC, Brisbane from May.

A new musical comedy, Mr. Saturday Night is about one man's meteoric rise to the middle. The musical is a work in development and will be presented with minimal set and costume pieces.  

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley will resume in-person performances when it launches its previously announced 51st season, featuring eight plays and musicals presented October 2021 through August 2022, kicking off with the new indie folk-rock musical Lizard Boy.

Nova Frontier Film Festival and Lab, The Billie Holiday Theater and Laurel Channel TV have once again joined forces to present the 2021 virtual edition of the Nova Frontier Film Festival during Juneteenth weekend from Thursday, June 17th – June 20th. Daniel Gwirtzman Dance Company will present Dance With Us, an educational digital platform centered around the premiere of a series of new dance films.
