Diane Paulus’ (Director) multiple Tony Award winning 2013 Broadway Revival of Stephen Schwartz (Music and Lyrics) and Roger O. Hirson’s (Book) PIPPIN entertains and entrances Sydney audiences thirsty for theatre with a bold blend of song, dance, and circus. 

On this day in 1972, Pippin opened on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre!

After launching this summer with the sold-out musical Fanny and Stella, The Garden Theatre at The Eagle presents a new production of the popular musical Pippin. This is a socially distanced, outdoor production produced by Peter Bull for LAMBCO Productions.

Tickets for the first 12 performances of Pippin at The Garden Theatre sold out in less than 72 hours. Now producers have put another 8 on sale from Tuesday 22 September to Sunday 27 September.

After launching as an exciting new outdoor London theatre venue with the sold-out, critically acclaimed musical 'Fanny and Stella', which just extended its run due to overwhelming public demand, The Garden Theatre will next present a new production of the Broadway musical 'Pippin', featuring an exceptional cast of West End performers.

The Good Tidings Foundation and LeRoy Neiman and Janet Byrne Neiman Foundation have announces the opening of the LeRoy Neiman Art Studio at the Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind, which will include an educational partnership with the newly opened United States Olympic & Paralympic Museum located just minutes from the school's campus. 

Yorkshire theatre company, Mikron Theatre, have not only reached but shot past their fundraising total of £48,337.49 which will help them to stage their 50th year of touring in 2021.

Known for amazing harmony and versatility, incorporating pop, jazz, R&B, rock and roll, swing, symphonic and a cappella music, The Manhattan Transfer will perform at the McCallum Theatre at 8:00pm, Saturday, March 21. The show is made possible through the generosity of Harold Matzner. The Manhattan Transfer has become a cornerstone of contemporary music. Originally launched by Tim Hauser in 1969, the group consisted of Hauser, Alan Paul, Janis Siegel and Laurel Masse in 1972. Cheryl Bentyne joined the group in 1979 after Laurel Masse left following a car accidenta?"and that lineup would perform together for some 35 years.

As told by a traveling troupe of actors led by the cunning and charming Leading Player, Pippin is the story of a young prince, heir to the throne, who returns from university certain that he will find a fulfilling purpose in life. He dabbles in bloody battle, licentious and lusty entanglements, and savvy political maneuvers, only to discover that true happiness lies not in extraordinary endeavors, but in the ordinary moments that happen every day. As part of their February Festival, Gainesville Theatre Alliance will present Pippin Feb 11-22 at Brenau University's Hosch Theatre.

On November 17, 2019, InterSchool Orchestras of New York and the Mingus Dynasty collaborated to present MINGUS at Long Island University Kumble Theater in Brooklyn, NY.  This concert featured never-before-heard full orchestra arrangements of popular Mingus tunes arranged by Earl McIntyre.  It also featured Renée Manning and solo performances by the Mingus Dynasty.

Knife Edge Productions is pleased to announce their next production, Neil LaBute's In a Dark Dark House. The play runs December 6 - 21 with opening night slated for December 10 at A.R.T/New York Theatres. In a Dark Dark House is directed by the company's Resident Theatre Director, Sam Helfrich.
