Cody Estle will step down as Raven Theatre's Artistic Director at the end of November 2022, after serving as the company’s artistic leader since 2017. Estle will join Milwaukee’s Next Act Theatre as Artistic Director.

Due to popular demand, Raven Theatre’s Chicago premiere of The Luckiest has added one additional week of performances, extending through Sunday, June 26, 2022 on Raven’s 85-seat East Stage, 6157 N. Clark St. (at Granville) in Chicago.

McCarter will welcome a group of esteemed and emerging playwrights and theater artists to Princeton for the Sallie B. Goodman Artists' Retreat. The annual retreat in June is a centerpiece of McCarter's LAB, a platform and creative incubator devoted to ongoing theatrical development and artist cultivation. The 2019 Retreat will take place from June 12 - June 19.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS has announced the release of Hundred Days, the original cast recording of the critically acclaimed new musical, on CD in stores and online today, Friday, November 30. The unique album was recorded with a live studio audience that captures the excitement and emotion of the original production. It was released in streaming and digital formats earlier this season. La Jolla Playhouse announces the cast and creative team for Hundred Days, book by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher, music and lyrics by The Bengsons, directed by Anne Kauffman, with movement direction by Sonya Tayeh. Nominated for a 2018 Lucille Lortel Award, Hundred Days runs in the Playhouse's Mandell Weiss Forum September 22 - October 21.

GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS will release the original cast recording of the critically-acclaimed new musical Hundred Days in digital and streaming formats on Friday, September 21. A physical CD release will follow later this year. Hundred Days features a book by The Bengsons and Sarah Gancher, music and lyrics by The Bengsons. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) announced today a one-week extension for the New York Premiere of The House That Will Not Stand by Marcus Gardley (X: Or, Betty Shabazz v. The Nation), directed by NYTW Usual Suspect and Obie Award winner Lileana Blain-Cruz (Red Speedo; Pipeline). The House That Will Not Stand began previews on Wednesday, July 11, 2018, and opened Monday, July 30 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003). Originally set to close on Sunday, August 12, The House That Will Not Stand will now run through Sunday, August 19, 2018.

Award-winning playwright Patricia Loughrey and composer Thomas Hodges announce that five-time NYMF alum Erin Leigh Peck (Motherfreakinghood, Grease! on Broadway) will step into the lead role of Margaret Evans in their original LGBTQ musical Sonata 1962.The production, which will make its Off-Broadway debut this August as part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's Next Link Project, was originally slated to star Becca Ayers who has had to step out of the show due to booking a Broadway contract.

 Australian playwright and composer Luke Byrneis excited to announce his original new musical Between the Sea and Sky will make its Off-Broadway debut later this summer as part of the 2018 New York Musical Festival's (NYMF) Next Link Project. Featuring an original book, music & lyrics by Mr. Byrne, Between the Sea and Skywill play a 5-performance run at The Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row beginning July 31, 2018.

The complete cast for the world premiere Chicago production of the new comedy musical, TOOTSIE has just been announced.
