The Muny has selected the seven teams of directors, choreographers, music directors and lead designers whose creative visions will shape the Tony Award-winning theatre’s 2026 season in Forest Park.

Boston Ballet will present Winter Experience, a program comprised of two high-octane ballets that have made a mark on dance history: Resident Choreographer Jorma Elo’s Le Sacre du Printemps (The Rite of Spring) and Crystal Pite’s The Seasons’ Canon.

The Actors' Gang is presenting the World Premiere of Children of the Winter Kingdom – The Bonkers Adventures of Holly and Spruce, an original family-friendly fantasy fairy tale for the theater written by Adam Dugas and Mary Eileen O’Donnell and directed by Dugas for a limited three-week engagement from December 4 to 20 at the Actors’ Gang in Culver City.

Broadway stars and real-life couple and triple-threat performers Nicolas Dromard and Desiree Davar are making their debut at the Catalina Jazz Club with Nic & Desi: From Broadway to Hollywood on Thursday May 10. I decided to speak with them about their illustrious careers, how they met, and what led to bringing their new show to Los Angeles prior to taking the show on the road.

It is a show presented by Shunya Theatre that will be at the MATCH complex from April 10th through the 13th. The play's premise is that a meet-cute at a temple results in a romance between Naveen Gavaskar and Keshav — a Hindi-speaking, Bollywood-loving man who happens to be white. As the love story unfolds, the Gavaskar household must also brace itself for the return of Naveen's older sister, Arundhathi.

Jacob's Pillow has announced that Norton Owen, the organization's Director of Preservation and a longstanding leader in the dance field, will receive the 2025 Jacob's Pillow Dance Award in celebration of his 50th year on staff. Owen will accept this award at Jacob's Pillow's Season Opening Gala in Becket on Saturday, June 21.
