On the night of its official opening, What the Constitution Means to Me has announced an extension of six additional weeks on Broadway. Initially announced for a 12-week engagement through June 9, 2019, What the Constitution Means to Me will now play through July 21, 2019 at the Helen Hayes Theater (240 W 44th Street, New York, NY). What the Constitution Means to Me officially opened tonight, March 31, 2019, after beginning performances on March 14.

Following sold-out runs in Los Angeles and a critically acclaimed, sold-out run in New York City, the new musical - a stage adaptation of Roger Kumble's 1999 cult-hit film, created by Jordan Ross, Lindsey Rosin & Roger Kumble - will launch its first national tour at Proctors in Schenectady, NY on March 29, 2019.

In a concert which explores how music can dissolve borders and broaden our understanding of the world, BCMG celebrates the music of Berlin-based British composer Rebecca Saunders at the CBSO Centre in Birmingham on Thursday 21 March with performances of evocative 2009 work murmurs - the inspiration for the title of this concert - and CRIMSON - Molly's Song 1, a musical meditation on the final monologue of Molly Bloom in James Joyce's Ulysses. The recipient of the 2019 Ernst von Siemens Music Prize and winner of the 2018 British Composer Award in the Small Chamber category, Rebecca Saunders will be present at the concert and can be heard in conversation with fellow composer Donghoon Shin in a pre-concert talk at 6.30pm.

The Clubbed Thumb, True Love, and New York Theatre Workshop production of What the Constitution Means to Me will come to Broadway this spring for a 12-week limited engagement, beginning performances at the Helen Hayes Theater (240 W 44th Street, New York, NY) on March 14, 2019, with opening night scheduled for March 31. Heidi Schreck's timely and galvanizing play, directed by Oliver Butler, became a sensation off-Broadway this fall, where it extended twice at NYTW before transferring to the Greenwich House Theater. What the Constitution Means to Me will be produced on Broadway by Diana DiMenna, Aaron Glick, and Matt Ross.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team for Familiar by Tony Award nominee Danai Gurira (Broadway's Eclipsed, Black Panther, "The Walking Dead"). Goodman Theatre has announced the cast for Twilight Bowl by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rebecca Gilman, an Artistic Associate who marks her ninth production-and seventh world premiere-with the Goodman. Set in a rural Wisconsin bowling alley, the coming-of-age story focuses on six women struggling to define their own version of success. Anastasia will welcome new cast members to the Broadhurst Theatre this winter. Beginning Tuesday, December 18, original company member Constantine Germanacos will rejoin the hit Broadway musical as "Gleb." Emmy Award Winner Penny Fuller will assume the role of the "Dowager Empress" the week of January 7.
