New York City Ballet’s 2026 Winter Season will feature a world premieres by Justin Peck and NYCB Artist in Residence Alexei Ratmansky, two early ballets by Balanchine and more.

The Royal Ballet season continues with Perspectives: Balanchine, Marston, Peck. A triple bill that will supposedly “ignite the imagination” - stir, perhaps; ignite, not quite.

The Royal Ballet will perform Perspectives, a programme of one-act ballets.  A world premiere by Cathy Marston features as well as the UK premiere of Justin Peck’s Everywhere We Go.  George Balanchine’s ballet Serenade opens the evening.

On Friday, May 27, 2022, the Royal Scottish National Orchestra will release their new album, William Grant Still, on Naxos. This album includes world premiere recordings of 13 works by 20th-century composer William Grant Still and features solo violinist Zina Schiff with maestro Avlana Eisenberg leading the orchestra.

Founder and Artistic Director Denis Brott unveils the Montreal Chamber Music Festival's 24th season. This year, 2019, is the first of a three-year project to celebrate the life of the great Ludwig van Beethoven. Denis Brott comments: As a result of a unique alignment of musical stars in 2020 Ludwig's 250th birthday and the Festival's 25th anniversary I have put together Beethoven Chez Nous! On Saturday, November 10, 2018 at 7:00pm, Orpheus Chamber Orchestra presents Stars Aligned, an exploration of classical works by composers who revolutionized America's collective imagination and cultural heritage through film scoring, at Stern Auditorium / Perelman Stage at Carnegie Hall. Stars Aligned features works by composers with deep cinematic roots - Nino Rota, Miklos Rozsa, and Franz Waxman.

Orpheus is joined this season by an illustrious group of international soloists including pianists Nobuyuki Tsujii and Javier Perianes and the Avi Avital and Ksenija Sidorova Duo at Carnegie Hall, as well as cellist Steven Isserlis and harpsichordist Mahan Esfahani at 92nd Street Y. As part of Orpheus' ongoing American Notes commissioning initiative, two new pieces Benjamin Wallfisch's Concerto for Mandolin and Accordion and a work by James Matheson receive their world premieres next season.
