Middle-aged siblings Vanya and Sonia share a home in Bucks County, PA, where they bicker and complain. Suddenly, their movie-star sister, Masha, swoops in with her new boy toy, Spike. Old resentments flare up, eventually leading to threats to sell the house. Also on the scene are sassy maid Cassandra, who can predict the future, and a lovely young aspiring actress named Nina, whose prettiness somewhat worries the imperious Masha.

Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Not all news was good though, as we also suffered a loss of an incredible amount of talent.
Below, BroadwayWorld sends a fond farewell to those who passed away in 2014.

Actor and singer Dominic Chianese, known mostly for his starring role as Corrado "Junior" Soprano in HBO's The Sopranos, and for his role as Johnny Ola in The Godfather II, makes his 54 Below tonight, October 24. Dominic has lived in New York City all his life, and worked in theatre- Broadway (The Rose Tattoo, Requiem for a Heavyweight), Off Broadway (Still Life, Much Ado About Nothing at the Delacorte) and in regional theatres all over the country. Since 1952 when he toured with the America Savoyards Gilbert and Sullivan company, Dominic has been regaling with song as well. (Not many folks know that Junior from The Sopranos made his Broadway debut in Oliver!) Dominic will be sharing "Neapolitan Songs Grandfather Taught Me" a selection of classic songs of Naples, including Dicitenciello Vuie, O Sole Mio, Marechiare, A Vucchella, and more. About his recent engagement at the Cafe Carlyle, Theater Pizzazz said "He holds the audience in the palm of his hand."
