Broadway star Kay Cole, who portrayed Maggie in the original production of A Chorus Line, has joined the cast of The Wedding Singer at The Colony Theatre.

Some of the shows that the Orpheum has been best known for are Stomp, which ran there for an astounding 29 years, from 1994 to 2023, and the original production of Little Shop of Horrors which spent over five years at the theater from 1982 to 1987.

As the ground-breaking Broadway musical A Chorus Line celebrates its 50th anniversary in 2025, Atlanta’s own City Springs Theatre Company (CSTC) will honor that legendary show and some of its original stars at their first-ever Encore Gala, Sunday, February 16th at the Byers Theatre in Sandy Springs.

Little Feat and Nitty Gritty Dirt Band are joining forces on the road for the first time with their Dirty Feat Tour. The special five-date run of shows will begin June 21, 2025, in Airway Heights, Washington and wrap June 26, 2025, in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

John David “JD” Souther, a Songwriters Hall of Fame inductee known for his hit collaborations with the Eagles, James Taylor and Linda Ronstadt, passed away peacefully in his New Mexico home at the age of 78.

The Long Island Music & Entertainment Hall of Fame has announced the Grand Opening of the non-profit organization's first physical facility, and Long Island's very first Hall of Fame, on November 25th, 2022, at 97 Main Street, Stony Brook Village, NY.

Inspired by the popular Twitter account, Chicago Party Aunt, the adult animated comedy follows Diane and Daniel as they navigate work, family, romance, and most of all, how to party. The cast includes Lauren Ash, Rory O’Malley, RuPaul Charles, Jill Talley,  Ike Barinholtz, Jon Barinholtz, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Katie Rich, And Chris Witaske.

Legendary performer, musician, producer and “American Idol” TV personality Lionel Richie will be honored with the prestigious Icon Award at the “2022 American Music Awards” (AMAs), the world’s largest fan-voted award show, making him the only artist in history to be featured on the AMAs stage in every decade since the show’s inception.
