Executive-Producer Armand Hyatt today announced that two Emmy-nominated and beloved soap stars are joining the cast of Off-Broadway's longest running play, PERFECT CRIME this month, celebrating the record-breaking murder mystery as it enters its historic 33rd year of performances. Both Robert Newman and Grant Aleksander of GUIDING LIGHT fame will be taking on the role of Detective James Ascher in the classic whodunit that continues its run in the Anne L. Bernstein Theater at The Theater Center. Mr. Newman will perform in the role now through May 8th and May 24th - June 16th and Mr. Aleksander will perform in the role May 10th - May 22nd and June 17th - June 30th. Robert Newman, star of 'Guiding Light' and a two-time Daytime Emmy nominee for his longtime work on 'Guiding Light,' will join the cast of SESSIONS beginning Friday, May 29th. SESSIONS, directed by Thomas Coté, is now playing off-Broadway at the Algonquin Theater (123 East 24th Street). Albert M. Tapper (From Where I Stand, Broadway: The Golden Age) pens this candid and witty new musical about the everyday life of a New York therapist and his patients. Robert Newman, best known for his 28 year run as Joshua Lewis on the longest running program in broadcasting history, Guiding Light, will be returning to the cast of the longest running play in NYC History, Off-Broadway's PERFECT CRIME. Mr. Newman will return to the role of Inspector Asher -March 13 through April 9 - a role he took on in another limited engagement in July of 2014.

The production is directed and choreographed by Robin Levine, with musical direction by Jillian K. Zack. The show features two different youth casts of orphans, the Charles cast and the Strouse cast. Playing the roles of Annie are Lily Hogge (Charles Cast) and Zoi Pegues (Strouse Cast). Also, featured in the company are Robert Newman as Oliver 'Daddy' Warbucks, who is best known for his 28-year run as 'Joshua Lewis' on the hit television series Guiding Light, and Erin Fish as Ms. Hannigan who recently played the role on the U.S. National Tour.

Flint Club is pleased to add Executive Producer and Director of One of Us Films, Carrie Lezotte (www.oneofusfilms.org) to the expert line- up of the ?Quiet on the Set? Fim Symposium. Ms. Lezotte brings a wealth of knowledge and experience having written, produced and directed dozens of short format programs, including dramatic narratives, documentaries, and industrials. Her recent work includes the website www.oicmovies.com, which is built entirely around American Sign Language Videos for their Sign Language Community. Two of the projects that she has overseen for One of Us Films have received the Michigan Film Tax Incentive. She will help participants explore ways to apply their skills to these types of nontraditional productions. She will join Ben Cain-Actor (recently playing roles in Heroes and CSI: Miami), Alex Grossman-Director (www.menonthestreet.com), Michael Ramsdell- Producer (www.underthehoodproductions.com) and Sultan Sharief (www.bilalstand.com) of Ann Arbor, MI who will present workshops on acting, improvisation, producing, directing ,production crews and media/industrials. They will also expound on their experience in the industry and share tips from an insider?s point of view.
