The show is based on the DreamWorks animated film of the same name, and runs at TheatreWorks through November 5. It has music and lyrics by Stephen Schwartz, and a book by Philip LaZebnik.

A day-of-performance lottery for a limited number of orchestra seats will be held for WICKED, which is premiering in Grand Rapids at DeVos Performance Hall October 18-November 5.

Red Scare on Sunset is a funny and frighteningly pure parody of the 1950's Communist invasion of Hollywood. When film star Mary Dale discovers that her own husband has been lured into the local Communist party by way of a method-acting class, she wages a private war to save her husband and conquer the Beverly Hills Commies. The McCarthy era is turned on its head in this novel take on a serious subject. Red Scare on Sunset contains fog, haze, and herbal cigarettes.
