Broadway In Chicago has announced its next season line-up: Andrew Lloyd Webber's SCHOOL OF ROCK, Broadway sensation WICKED, 2016 Tony Award-winning Best Play THE HUMANS and LOVE NEVER DIES.

The University of Washington College of Arts and Sciences presents the third annual production of the UW Musical Theater Program, Pippin. The production runs March 10th through March 19th at the Floyd and Delores Jones Playhouse at NE 41st Street and University Way NE.

Multi-award winning Foothill Music Theatre will give Bay Area audiences their first look at the 2014 revised version of the acclaimed Broadway musical Side Show. This dazzling work, featuring music by Henry Krieger (Dreamgirls), and book/lyrics by Bill Russell (Pageant, Lucky Duck), was nominated for four 1998 Tony Awards including Best Musical, Best Score, Best Book, and Best Actress. The 2014 revival, which incorporates a revised script and several new songs, received additional critical acclaim, was nominated for five Drama Desk Awards including Outstanding Revival, and was awarded the 2015 Helen Hayes Award for Outstanding Musical. Side Show is based on the true story of Daisy and Violet Hilton, conjoined twins who rose from a sideshow attraction to become sensational vaudeville stars in the 1930s. Side Show will be directed by Milissa Carey, with musical direction by Dolores Duran-Cefalu, and choreography by Brett and CJ Blankenship and will playMarch 2 - 19, 2017 (press opening: March 3, 2017) with performances 7:30pm Thursdays, 8:00pm Fridays & Saturdays, and 2pm Sundays at the Lohman Theatre, 12345 El Monte Road, Los Altos Hills. Broadway In Boston, announced today that WICKED, Broadway's biggest blockbuster and Boston's most popular musical will return to the Boston Opera House. WICKED will play a limited seven week engagement June 7 - July 23, 2017 as part of the 2016-2017 Lexus Broadway In Boston Season.

The Drama Desk Award-winning TADA! Youth Theater's Annual Gala will take place on Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Tribeca 360. TADA! is thrilled to announce that this year's honorees are legendary composer & Artistic Advisory Board Member STEPHEN SCHWARTZ, loyal supporter & Board Member JULIE TURAJ  &  philanthropist ROBERT POHLY. The Gala will be hosted by TADA! alum, JORDAN PEELE, of Comedy Central's 'Key & Peele.'

The Metropolitan Opera's 2017-18 season will feature 220 performances of 26 works, including two Met premieres, one co-commissioned by the company and one an older masterpiece having its first Met performances; a variety of repertory favorites, three in new productions; and performances of Verdi's towering concert work for soloists, orchestra, and chorus, the Requiem. The partnership between San Francisco Opera and the Bay Area's Classical KDFC continues with monthly broadcasts of performances captured during the Fall 2016 Season, including the world premiere of Bright Sheng and David Henry Hwang's Dream of the Red Chamber, and a historic broadcast from the Company's archives. All performances were recorded live at the War Memorial Opera House and feature the San Francisco Opera Orchestra and Chorus (Ian Robertson, Chorus Director).
