Soho Theatre and Damsel Productions, the theatre company championing women's untold stories, announces the eight-strong cast for the premiere of award-winning writer Iman Qureshi's latest play, The Ministry of Lesbian Affairs. Directed by Hannah Hauer-King, this heart-warming play with songs will be Soho Theatre's new-writing highlight of the season, forming part of its spring/summer 2022 programme. 

New York City Opera will present Kurt Weill and Bertolt Brecht's thrilling double bill, The Seven Deadly Sins & Mahagonny Songspiel, for the first time ever told as one story, a tragic fable for today.

Follow the fortunes (and misfortunes) of the Dashwood sisters, sensible Elinor and hypersensitive Marianne, as Everyman Theatre continues its live, in-person 2021/2022 season with Jane Austen's, Sense and Sensibility, a play adapted by playwright and actor Kate Hamill. The production at Everyman Theatre is directed by Susanna Gellert and runs from April 5 through May 1, 2022. At-home streaming is also available through May 13.

Shattered Globe Theatre has announced the addition of six new Ensemble Members and six new Artistic Associates. Ensemble members include Demetra Dee, Tina M. Jach, Tina Muñoz Pandya, Hailey Rakowiecki, Jazzma Pryor and Devonte E. Washington. Artistic Associates include Mikey Gray, Lawrence Grimm, Jason Lynch, David Antonio Reed, Adam Schulmerich and Leslie Ann Sheppard.

The World Premiere of i need space, a new digital series written, directed and created by Donja R. Love (Sugar In Our Wounds, one in two) and presented by The New Group Off Stage in association with John Ridley’s NŌ Studios and Frank Marshall will begin streaming March 8, 2022, exclusively on the new streaming platform, Broadstream.

By popular demand, Disney's The Lion King will return to Salt Lake City for the first time since its triumphant premiere engagement in March/April of 2017, where the production played a sold-out run at the Eccles Theater.  This exclusive four-week return engagement at the Eccles Theater begins Thursday, September 29, 2022 and plays through Sunday, October 23, 2022. The public on-sale for individual tickets to The Lion King will be announced at a later date.
