Mint Theater Company Artistic Director Jonathan Bank today announced a cast change for the current production, Chekhov/Tolstoy: Love Stories. Mint alumnus Henry Clarke will replace Alexander Sokovikov beginning Saturday evening February 29th.

Jaga Jazzist return with new album Pyramid, their first album since 2015's Starfire and ninth overall in a career spanning four decades, out on April 24th. It marks the group's debut on Brainfeeder, the LA-based imprint curated by Flying Lotus. 

Houston talent won't be the only thing that will be present at the world premiere staging of Lock by Lock by Houston writer Katherine Mulvaney next weekend. Houston Area Women's Center, a nonprofit organization in Houston that caters to victims of domestic abuse, will also be present at the opening of this one-woman show on Thursday, February 20th, 2020.

New Amsterdam Singers (NAS), led by Music Director Clara Longstreth, will present Through the Seasons, featuring Robert Paterson's 'I Go Among Trees' - a World Premiere commissioned by NAS in honor of its 50th anniversary. The three-movement work by the New York-based award-winning composer is written for chorus and marimba on texts by Wendell Berry, May Sarton, and John Freeman; Makoto Nakura is the marimba soloist. The concert will be performed twice: Friday, March 20, 2020, at 8:00 pm at Broadway Presbyterian Church, Broadway at 114th Street, and Sunday, March 22, 2020, at 4:00 pm at The Theater of St. Jean Baptiste, 184 East 76th St.

The Second City has announced the addition of Adam Archer to its 108th Mainstage revue as he takes over the roles of former ensemble member Andrew Knox. Archer steps on to the historic stage with dynamite cast members Mary Catherine Curran, Sarah Dell'Amico, Asia Martin, Jordan Savusa, and Adam Schreck.

Inspired from the first century Greek novel, Callirhoe, the libretto for Of Love and Rage was adapted by actor, director, screenwriter and Molière Award winner Guillaume Gallienne.
