Swimming in Jerusalem: A Modern Musical Parable, exploring relationships among citizens of Israel as presented through the complex experiences of teenage swimmers in a YMCA swim club in Jerusalem, will be presented in a concert format for five free public performances at off-Broadway's Theater555.

The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center Theater Arts Program will present the Chicano classic comedy Petra's Pecado written by Rupert Reyes and directed by Rodney Garza.

Bishonen: Ryuga Sato, Taisho Iwasaki, Hidaka Ukisho, Yuto Nasu, Issei Kanasashi, Naoki Fujii - a group of six with an average age of 20, formed in 2017 with current members. In the past, they had also appeared in the stage production “SHONENTACHI' and achieved their first solo lead role in “SHONENTACHI 2023: Through The Darkness” (Click here to see Review: 'SHONENTACHI' 2023) in October of this year. SHONENTACHI has been continuously evolving since its first run in 1969 and remains connected to the present day. Despite being pre-debut, Bishonen has engaged in various activities, including stage performances, commercials, dramas, and variety shows, gaining attention as a rising young group. Notably, Yuto appears on 'Ah, Minna no Doubutsuen（嗚呼!!みんなの動物園）” on NTV, Hidaka joined the main cast of 'Gifted （ギフテッド）Season 1 & 2” on WOWOW and Tokai TV, Taisho and Yuto appear on, 'Cho Tayosei Talk Show! Naresome（超多様性トークショー!なれそめ）” on NHK General, and NHK Radio 1’s 'Radirer! Saturday' features rotating members every week. Additionally, they are set to perform in a spring production at the Imperial Theatre supervised by Koichi Domoto.

Shakespeare Theatre Company has revealed the cast and creative team for the holiday production of As You Like It, playing in STC's Harman Hall DEC 2 – 31.

​​​​​​​Hikaru Iwamoto: In the stage production 'SHONENTACHI 2023: Through The Darkness,' which opened on October 4th with the lead role played by the members of Bishonen, Hikaru took on the sole responsibility for the stage's composition, direction, and choreography for his first time. He also appeared in the previous stage productions of the 'SHONENTACHI' series and its 2019 film adaptation. 'SHONENTACHI' has been evolving and continuing to the present day since its first performance in 1969. Hikaru, who debuted in 2020 as the leader of Snow Man, is active in various fields, including music, stage performances, variety shows, YouTube, films, and magazines. Some of his notable works cover the musical 'Catch Me If You Can' (2022), the film 'My Boyfriend in Orange' (2002), and 'Osomatsu-san' (2022). Additionally, he and his fellow group members appear on the TBS show 'Sore Snow Man ni Yarasete Kudasai（それSnow Manにやらせて下さい）' every Friday and on the 'Snow Man no Su no Manma（Snow Manの素のまんま）' show on Nippon Cultural Broadcasting every Thursday. In the fitness magazine 'Tarzan,' he has been serializing 'Muscle Bard Hikaru Iwamoto’s Betrayal Work Out Method（筋肉吟遊詩人・岩本照 裏切りの筋トレ・メソッド）” since 2018.

The album began its life as a performance in honor of Hart’s 80th birthday in December 2020, live streamed from an empty Smoke Jazz Club in the final weeks of that grueling pandemic year. Despite those adversities, the music they created that night was spectacular enough to convince all involved that it should be released.

“You may say I’m a dreamer,” John Lennon writes in his iconic anthem, “Imagine,” and, indeed, in 1969 when the Beatles disbanded and embarked on solo careers, each of the four would create songs that did explore new realms. Musician Joe Boucher and his band, allow themselves to re-imagine new possibilities for the Beatles music from their solo careers in a concert bearing the title of Lennon’s song, which the group performed to a soldout house as a part of Maine State Music Theatre’s Concert Series July 9-10. IMAGINE presents compositions by John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison, and Ringo Starr from 1969-1980, played as they might have, had the foursome still been performing together as The Beatles and still under the watchful, creative eye of producer George Martin.
