MNM Theatre Company will present Five Guys Named Moe, playwright Clarke Peters exciting, exhilarating, and exuberantly loving tribute to Jazz legend Louis Jordan and his music from September 8th through September 24th in the Rinker Playhouse at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts.

The chorus of the Broadway musical New York, New York will receive the 2023 ACCA Award for Outstanding Broadway Chorus. 

The many facets of Kent Tritle’s career are on prominent display in the 2023-24 concert season of the Director of Cathedral Music and Organist at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine; Music Director of both Musica Sacra, New York’s elite professional chorus, and Oratorio Society of New York, the acclaimed avocational ensemble; and organist of the New York Philharmonic.

The Ghost Inside mark their return with a new single, “Earn It”, produced by Dan Braunstein (Spiritbox, Dayseeker). Their first new release since 2020’s self-titled record, “Earn It” finds the metalcore heavyweights back with a vengeance. Ushering in urgent guitars and crushing drums, front man Jonathan Vigil shifts from screams to vocals.

In July ACTORS' READING COLLECTIVE (ARC) is presenting two premiere play readings on July 10th and July 31st at Marin Shakespeare Company. Both readings begin at 7 pm.  

The season will open with the Chicago premiere of the hilarious romantic musical GAY CARD, return to the British tradition of holiday pantomimes with Tom Whalley's very adult SLEEPING WITH BEAUTY, and close with Joe Calarco's all-male present-day re-imagining of ROMEO AND JULIET, SHAKESPEARE'S R & J.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater are open this July with a full slate of nightly performances! 

The season features new projects by Meg Foley (PHL), Amy O'Neal (LA), Alyza Delpan-Monley (SEA), and our next cohort of Pacific Northwest-based artists. 

Central Indiana Academy of Dance and Central Indiana Dance Ensemble would like to offer special congratulations to their Senior dancers, graduating this year and going on to pursue their future dreams. These dancers have spent close to 20 to 24 hours a week in classes and rehearsals this year.
