Rodriguez as the titular Calvin in a revamping of Cyrano de Bergerac in a high school setting. I got a chance to throw out a few inquiries of Frankie amidst his final rehearsals.

Multi-platinum, four-time GRAMMY-nominated rock band Goo Goo Dolls revealed the second leg of their The Big Night Out Tour with special guests Fitz and The Tantrums. The newly announced dates will kick off this fall at The Cuthbert Amphitheater in Eugene, OR on September 12th, while O.A.R. will be special guests during the first leg this summer.

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University has appointed Dayron J. Miles A.R.T.’s Associate Artistic Director.

Uptown Knauer Performing Arts Center will brighten January with its annual Gala. Light Up The Night will once again give audiences an incredible event to celebrate Uptown. Saturday, January 14 at 5:30pm audiences will gather at the Chester County History Center for signature cocktails, hors d'oeuvres by local native, “Big Chef”  and Food Network Star Tom Pizzica of Philly Hots, live music from the Uptown! Poet Voice Sucks, a funny poetry series featuring humorous poetry performed by writers, comedians, and actors, returns for its fourth edition at the Broadway Comedy Club on December 18th.

A Christmas Carol, The Broadway Musical was originally staged at the famous Madison Square Garden and was brought to life by Broadway heavy hitters, Alan Menken (Disney's Beauty and the Beast, Disney's The Little Mermaid, Little Shop of Horrors) and Lynn Ahrens (Ragtime, Seussical, Once on This Island), with a book by Mike Ockrent & Lynn Ahrens.

Building for the Arts announced that David J. Roberts will succeed Wendy Rowden as President. Rowden, who served as BFA’s President for eight years, will remain on BFA’s Board of Directors following her December 13, 2022 departure.
