Mint Theater Company will continue its hybrid season of live performances at NY City Center along with the on-demand streaming of acclaimed previous productions. Beginning Monday November 7th (from 7pm) will be streaming of the three-camera archival recording (filmed in HD!) of The New Morality by Harold Chapin, directed by Mr. Bank.

South Street Seaport Museum will host Halloween Family Activity Weekend on Saturday, October 29 and Sunday, October 30, 2022, 11am-5pm aboard the main deck of the historic tall ship Wavertree, docked at Pier 16.

Actor and Director Alex Roe will be taking over the role of Horace Melville in Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse's sell-out premiere of Neith Boyce's THE SEA LADY. Roe is known for his performances at Metropolitan as Jesse James in MISSOURI LEGEND, Richard Dudgeon in THE DEVIL'S DISCIPLE, and Blemie, the dog, in Eugene O'Neill's LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT OF SILVERDENE EMBLEM O'NEILL. 

Inspired by real life events intertwined with a fantastical reimagining, Told by an Idiot's acclaimed production about comedy legends Charlie Chaplin and Stan Laurel is to return in 2023. Bringing to the stage the remarkable story of the greatest comedy double act that nearly was, Charlie and Stan is a homage to two comedy legends, looking at the two year period they spent touring together before either became famous.

Obie Award winner Metropolitan Playhouse has opened  the world premiere of Neith Boyce's THE SEA LADY, a 1935 play bound for Broadway that never reached its opening, in limited run from October 6 - 30, 2022, in person at the Playhouse: 220 E 4th Street. This week, Brooklyn Botanic Garden unveils two new birdhouses by legendary artist George Clinton made exclusively for its For the Birds exhibition. Clinton, the visual artist and musician who revolutionized music and performance in the '70s and '80s through the pioneering work of Parliament-Funkadelic, began painting birdhouses during the pandemic when he ran out of canvases to work on. Clinton's garden in Florida eventually filled with these birdhouses and become a “funk village” for the birds. This summer, Clinton created two new birdhouses for the Garden and For the Birds. Visitors can see the two new birdhouses by Clinton now on BBG's Magnolia Plaza.

Celebrated singer and songwriter Peabo Bryson, two time Rock and Roll inductee Graham Nash, dance companies Pilobolus and Flamenco Vivo, and Broadway stars Megan Hilty, Mandy Gonzalez and Javier Muñoz are just a few of the artists set to appear at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts at Pepperdine University during its 2022–2023 season. 

Axis Theatre Company will present the return of Washington Square, a contemporary take on Henry James’s novel. Adapted and directed by Randy Sharp, the production features original music by Paul Carbonara, a cast of four, and is performed in the heart of Greenwich Village, a few blocks from the story’s 19th-century setting.

The Andes Dance Collective, founded by dancer/choreographers Gloria McLean, Columbine Macher, David Capps and composer/performer Marshall Coid, is proud to present the DELAWARE COUNTY 2ND DANCE FILM FESTIVAL AND WORKSHOP, bringing new dance and music events to the Catskills Delaware County region. 

The Andes Dance Collective, founded by dancer/choreographers Gloria McLean, Columbine Macher, David Capps and composer/performer Marshall Coid, presents the DELAWARE COUNTY 2ND DANCE FILM FESTIVAL AND WORKSHOP, bringing new dance and music events to the Catskills Delaware County region.  This year, in two 4-day weekends, July 21-24 and August 4-7, the Festival will include two live dance/music performances (premieres), film screenings, and dance workshops.

The pact includes more than 60 hours of original programming, including the development of multiple new series and holiday specials produced by A+E’s factual division, Six West Media, in association with Cakehouse Media.  Additionally, Valastro and his family will star in an upcoming Lifetime Holiday Movie.

The show was also in celebration of FINALLY ENOUGH LOVE, Madonna’s 16-track career-spanning remix compilation album, released on streaming. Madonna was joined by renowned drag queens Violet Chachki, Bob the Drag Queen, Pixie Aventura, and Laganja Estranja who arrived at the event on the Gaultier double-decker Pride bus.  Check out photos from the event. 

Now, more than two years after it was first announced, the cast of Chains will celebrate Opening Night on Thursday June 23rd, at Theatre Row. Performances will now continue through July 23rd.
