RISE will present Stephen Sondheim's A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC, March 24 - April 2 at The RISE Playhouse, directed and music directed by Gordon R. Dell.

Theatre Southwest will present Lauren Gunderson's Silent Sky, a story based on the real life of astronomer Henrietta Leavitt.

A Musica Sacra program spotlighting works by women composers spanning 500 years (April 18, 2023); the world premiere of a setting of the Stabat Mater for soloists, chorus, organ, and orchestra by David Briggs at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine, which will be livestreamed free of charge (March 8, 2023), and Bach's Mass in B Minor with the Oratorio Society of New York (May 8, 2023) are highlights of the spring 2023 season of Kent Tritle, who is Director of Cathedral Music and Organist at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine and Music Director of both the Oratorio Society of New York, the acclaimed volunteer ensemble, and Musica Sacra, New York's elite professional chorus.

Lyrical season will have 11 titles, including the premiere of O Machete, by Mehmari. Throughout 2023, will be presented of Il Seraglio, by Mozart, Cinderella, by Viardot, The Cunning Little Vixen, by Janácek, Dido and Eneas, by Purcell, among others. The program also includes ballet shows, symphonic and chamber music concerts.

Henrietta Solway is a new play commissioned by the National Willa Cather Center, and on February 24-25 it comes to life at the Lied Center! 

Boston Symphony Orchestra will present VOICES OF LOSS, RECKONING, AND HOPE Festival March 3-18. 

Five wildly diverse short plays will share the stage for four eclectic performances when the USC Dept. of Theatre and Dance presents the 10 Minute Play Festival, February 23-26 at the Lab Theatre.

The Norton Museum of Art will present From Man Ray to O'Keeffe: American Modernism at the Norton (March 18 – July 16, 2023), a recontextualization of the Norton Museum of Art's American modernist art collection, alongside At the Dawn of a New Age: Early Twentieth-Century American Modernism (March 18 – August 27, 2023), which comes to the Norton from the Whitney Museum of American Art.

It encompasses two plays: Lillian Helman's The Little Foxes and Branden Jacobs-Jenkins' Appropriate. Each play will take the stage four times a week, alternating performances.
