The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre's 2018/2019 Season has been a landmark for what has become a staple of the region's theatrical community. As the season opened this past September with its production of the family-favorite Annie, Way Off Broadway kicked off its 25th year of bringing live entertainment to the stage.  

The Tony Awards opening numbers have become an iconic and integral part of Broadway's biggest night. From medleys to original songs, the opening number is a way to celebrate the shows that will be honored throughout the night. Skylight Theatre Company (Producing Artistic Director, Gary Grossman and Co-Artistic Director Tony Abatemarco) announced today the world premiere of BRONCO BILLY - THE MUSICAL, It marks the organization's first world premiere musical production. The new musical, based on the Warner Bros. film Bronco Billy, features a book by Dennis Hackin, lyrics and music by Chip Rosenbloom and John Torres, with additional lyrics by Michele Brourman. Hunter Bird will direct. Preview performances begin on May 10, with the official press opening on Saturday, May 18, 2019. With the success and rave reviews from Mary Poppins Returns, receiving a Kennedy center honor for Hamilton and now preparing to reprise his role in Puerto Rico for the launch of the third national tour of Hamilton, it's safe to say that Miranda is on top of the world!

Selladoor Worldwide, against stiff competition, have won the tender to run the Queen's Theatre, Barnstaple and The Landmark Theatre, Ilfracombe from January 2019 for a minimum of ten years. This is further expansion of the company's move into venue, which includes the partnership with the Blackpool Entertainment Company, to bring creative life to the historical Pavilion Theatre, Blackpool.

Sardoville, a repertoire-esque theatre company fusing dance, design, art and word to tell stories that are moving and entertaining, was founded by Azzura Ardovini, Phil Sanger and Josh Wille, all former performers with Phoenix Dance Theatre, and presents For Only An Hour at Blue Elephant Theatre in London today 16 and Saturday 17 November, and Trinity Community Arts in Bristol on Saturday 24 November as part of IGNiTE.
