American singer-songwriter, guitarist, multi-instrumentalist and producer Jonny Polonsky has announced his new album 'Kingdom of Sleep', scheduled for release on March 6, 2020. Ahead of that, he presents the lead single 'The Weeping Souls'. Self-produced by Polonsky, this album was mixed and mastered by Mike Tholen (Chris Connelly, Revolting c*cks).

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 40 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2020 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. An abiding love for musical theater led to a fortuitous meeting with esteemed director John Caird that opened up a whole new career for Gordon. BroadwayWorld caught up with him while he was still in the thick of the rehearsal process for his new show, which can be a very stressful time. The de Blasio Administration today announced the launch of the IDNYC renewal campaign, new and returning benefit partners, and the IDNYC Middle School Card.
