Three-time Olivier Award winner Philip Quast and West End performer Rob Madge have joined LES MISÉRABLES: THE ARENA CONCERT SPECTACULAR at Radio City Music Hall. Quast, who originated Javert in the Australian production and appeared in the 10th Anniversary Concert, will play the Bishop of Digne, while Madge returns to the franchise as Bamatabois after previously appearing as Gavroche in the 25th Anniversary Concert.

Boublil and Schönberg's LES MISÉRABLES stormed back to the Keller Auditorium last night. I went in wondering how a show about a failed anti-monarchist uprising in 1832 might land differently now, on the heels of the third national 'No Kings' protest, than it did when it was last here in 2018.

LES MISÉRABLES THE ARENA SPECTACULAR has set its full Australian Tour schedule. The show is coming to the ICC Theatre Sydney on 30 April 2025, to be followed by Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne from 14 May 2025 and then Brisbane Entertainment Centre from 28 May 2025 for strictly limited performances.

The Muny has set a high bar for the remaining productions of their 106th season with an exquisite production of a beloved classic. Les Miserables returned to Indianapolis, again, in excellent fasion, propagating its underlying message that theater can suppress the multitudes. It can be ambitious and weighty, thematically sacred, and blatantly tear-jerking.
