Fresh off the heels of his latest single “Shut Me Up”, 23-year-old indie-pop artist Nicky Youre has released his new song “Found” from the Netflix animated film THE MAGICIAN’S ELEPHANT. Written by 14-time Academy Award-nominated songwriter Diane Warren, “Found” arrives alongside an animated lyric video that offers a sneak peek of the film.

Staging choices notwithstanding, Winding Road's production is a moving personal encounter. It recalls the existential confrontation we tend to ignore until we come of age: Do we choose love or fear? What happens if we compromise our mission for comfort and security? The proverbial clock nears midnight -- what becomes of me?

It is the first track released from Merchant’s forthcoming album, Keep Your Courage, and establishes the record’s themes of love and passion as essential to the human experience. Merchant’s ninth solo studio album, and the latest new material since 2014’s self-titled record, Keep Your Courage will be released in April.

Directed by San Francisco Playhouse Co-Founder and Producing Director Susi Damilano, Clue will perform March 9 – April 22, 2023 at San Francisco Playhouse.

Marika Aubrey was born and raised in Newcastle, New South Wales, Australia. She emigrated to the US six years ago and currently resides in New York City. For decades, the Afghanistan we know from the news has been a country of war, unspeakable violence, and the goings-on of an intractable band of fundamentalists set on taking its culture back centuries. It's hard to imagine it as a place where everyday life also included music, a wide variety of music ranging from folk and pop songs to the rich, high-flowing poetry of ghazals.
