A production of the play in New York last season was critically acclaimed, including a New York Times critic's pick. In our conversation Madigan talks about the play, her cast and her association with the playwright.

Umeda Arts Theater just announced the cast and creative team for the World Premiere of Prince of Broadway, a new musical celebrating the extraordinary six decade Broadway career of producer-director Harold Prince.  The production will play from October 23-November 22, 2015 at Tokyu Theatre Orb in Tokyo, Japan and November 28-December 10, 2015 at Umeda Arts Theater, Main Hall, in Osaka, Japan.

Paper Rain Performances, a Vancouver-based concert producer, today announced it will present music legend Jon Bon Jovi and the Kings of Suburbia in Vancouver's Stanley Park on August 22. This concert will kick off the Urban Forest concert series - a concept based on the vision of presenting the world's greatest artists in the world's grandest outdoor venues.

On June 15th and 16th,  The Other Mirror will present a staged reading of the new GODS & KINGS. A Theban king goes to pieces after snubbing the Greek god Dionysus and his pack of wild groupies in this alt-rock adaptation of Euripides's ripping tragedy, The Bacchae. It features music by Neil Douglas Reilly (Clinton the Musical, Little Dancer, Rocky), a book by Austin Ruffer, and lyrics by Maggie Herskowitz (The Edelweiss Pirates) and Austin Ruffer.   The reading is directed by Katherine M. Direct from two completely sold-out engagements in London, producers Scott Rudin and Lincoln Center Theater will bring the Young Vic's critically-acclaimed production of Arthur Miller's A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE to Broadway this fall.  The production, which swept the 2015 Olivier Awards — winning for Best Revival, Best Director, and Best Actor (Mark Strong) —will begin previews Wednesday evening, October 21 and open on Thursday, November 12 at the Lyceum Theatre, 149 West 45 Street.  A VIEW FROM THE BRIDGE will play an 18-week limited engagement through Sunday, February 21, 2016.

Rose Theatre Kingston today announces its most ambitious project to date - this autumn the Rose stage will be transformed into a battlefield for The Wars of the Roses, a gripping adaptation of four of Shakespeare's history plays, directed by Trevor Nunn. The productions will play in rep from 16 September until 31 October, with press performances for all three plays on 3 October.

The documentary RUBBLE KINGS will hit theaters on June 19th in New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, with a wider release to follow. The film, narrated by John Leguizamo, follows the story of the gangs that roamed the streets in NYC in the 70's and their impact at that time.
