Purchase College, SUNY will hold its 47th annual commencement ceremony on Friday, May 17, 2019 at 12:30 p.m. at the Westchester County Center in White Plains, NY.  Degrees will be conferred upon more than 1,000 graduating scholars representing dozens of majors and several countries.

HISTORY announces the return of the unprecedented live television event 'Evel Live 2' premiering Sunday, July 7 at 8PM ET. As part of the network's third annual Car Week, the live broadcast produced in partnership with Nitro Circus will follow athletes, including champion freestyle motocross athlete Axell Hodges and female freestyle motocross athlete Vicki Golden, as they set out to break world records with three jaw-dropping motorcycle stunts. Indie film icon John Gallagher will be honored by HeartShare Charities with the Linda Dano Heart Award at their annual spring gala on March 21, 2019 at the Ziegfeld Ballroom. The award honors a celebrity who has demonstrated the highest commitment to the betterment of the lives of at-risk populations, particularly those with intellectual/ developmental disabilities and/or children and youth. Cirque du Soleil will return to Australia from October this year with its most acclaimed touring show, KURIOS - Cabinet of Curiosities. KURIOS will premiere under their Signature Big Top on 2 October 2019 in Sydney at Entertainment Quarter, Moore Park. Written and directed by Michel Laprise, KURIOS - Cabinet of Curiosities is a tale in which time comes to a complete stop, transporting the audience inside a fantasy world where everything is possible. In this realm set in the latter half of the nineteenth century, reality is quite relative indeed as our perception of it is utterly transformed.

A Noise Within (ANW), California's acclaimed classic repertory theatre, is proud to present Argonautika, an epic theatrical journey full of human emotion by Tony Award-winning director and playwright Mary Zimmerman. ANW Producing Artistic Director Julia Rodriguez-Elliott will direct Zimmerman's work for the first time. Argonautika, which made its world premiere in 2006 at Chicago's Lookingglass Theatre that Zimmerman is a member of, runs from March 20 through May 5. Previews begin March 20 and press opening night is March 23.

After a nearly sold-out performance in 2014, comedian Kevin James returns to The Hanover Theatre and Conservatory for the Performing Arts. The Emmy-nominated star of TV and film brings a new stand-up act to Worcester on Friday, May 3 at 8 pm. Tickets are now on sale to members and go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 1 at 10 am.
