Director Joseph Walsh has mounted this production fifteen years previously in the UK and Ireland, but he's brought a new production to Central Florida during a year that has been, to say the least, a difficult challenge for both the LGBTQ+ and local theatre communities.

Fresh off a smash-hit run at the renowned Edinburgh Fringe Festival in Scotland, Cambridge-based Liars & Believers (LAB) will give a free performance of its well-reviewed show 'Yellow Bird Chase' at Starlight Square in Central Square at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 25. This showing is the rescheduling of a much-anticipated July performance that was cancelled because of the intense heat.

The complete cast has been announced for the modern musical adaptation of The Song of Bernadette developmental workshop from Tony, Grammy and Emmy nominated Composer, Frank Wildhorn, CMA winner and Grammy nominated lyricist, Robin Lerner and award winning playwright, Rinne B Groff.

OPERA America has selected three accomplished BIPOC professionals in opera as mentees in the 2022‒2023 Mentorship Program for Opera Leaders of Color.
