Queen Latifah has joined the first-ever Board of Advisors at BET Media Group alongside BET Founder Bob Johnson, Grammy Award-winning artist LL COOL J, National Football League's Executive Vice President of Football Operations, Troy Vincent, and more.

Queen Latifah, the musician and actress who appeared onscreen in the films of Chicago and Hairspray, will join season 30 of NBC’s Emmy Award-winning musical competition series “The Voice” as a coach this fall.

Next month, 54 Below will present some of the brightest stars from Broadway, cabaret, jazz, and beyond for Women's History Month, including Linda Eder, Kate Baldwin, Jenn Colella and more. 

Award-winning playwright Winsome Pinnock, known for her work in the UK, is penning the screenplay for a biographical film about jazz performer Dinah Washington.

The festival runs from 25 February to 8 March in Glasgow.

He does this to be hired by his ex-wife as a nanny after losing custody of his children in the divorce. And we have to give a round of applause for his real-life leading lady, Lakis, who dazzles as the believable, underappreciated, exasperated ex-wife.

An overall resounding triumph despite its insistence on side-stepping some of the more salacious scandals associated with its subject, pop star Michael Jackson—MJ - THE MUSICAL is a genuinely entertaining and nostalgic show that purposely aims to celebrate the creative, if misunderstood genius behind some of the biggest hits in pop music history.

TheatreWorks Silicon Valley continues its 51st season with the hit musical Ragtime. This sweeping and stirring musical masterpiece paints a portrait of America at the dawn of the twentieth century, interweaving the lives of three families—an African American family, a Jewish Immigrant family, and a wealthy white family—finding their places and pursuing the American Dream in a rapidly changing world. Featuring a Tony Award-winning book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Terrence McNally (Master Class, Kiss of the Spider Woman, The Rink) and a Tony Award-winning score by Stephen Flaherty and Lynn Ahrens (Once on This Island, Anastasia, Seussical The Musical), this musical is based on E.
