Broadway Dallas has announced its 2023 Gala featuring a full performance of MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL on Saturday, April 1 at the Music Hall at Fair Park, hosted by Gala Co-Chairs Jolie Humphrey and Gail Plummer with Honorary Co-Chairs Ambassador Kathryn Walt Hall and Craig Hall.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater has announced jazz programming running February 21 through March 5. Performers appearing at Birdland Jazz Club include Jane Monheit, Earl McIntyre's Tribute!, Amanda Green & Friends, James Carter 'Lookin at the Lock' Music of Eddie Lockjaw Davis and Manuel Valera New Cuban Express Big Band.

Something I have said many times is that I wish audience members would fully realize the amount of work and the amount of people it takes to put on a production. City Theatre at Sacramento City College will bring Jane Austen's beloved novel Persuasion to the stage in a new adaptation called Beyond Persuasion. Lori Ann DeLappe-Grondin adapts and directs this Austen play fusing the production with contemporary elements. The production opens Thursday, March 2, and plays through Sunday, March 12.

San Diego Opera's 2022-2023 Season continues with The Puccini Duo: a double-bill of the tragic Suor Angelica and the witty comic opera Gianni Schicchi on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at the San Diego Civic Theatre for four performances.
