The 29th annual Inside Out Toronto LGBT Film Festival (Inside Out), championing innovative LGBTQ filmmakers from across the globe, revealed its full feature and short film lineup. The announcement was made today by Inside Out's Executive Director Andria Wilson and the festival's Director of Programming Andrew Murphy. Inside Out, which launched the first ever annual LGBTQ Film Finance Forum, has established itself as an international home and incubator for LGBTQ emerging and established filmmakers. This year's festival will take place May 23 to June 2, 2019.

Playwrights Foundation, the West Coast's premiere launchpad for exceptional plays and playwrights, is thrilled to announce the lineup for the 2019 Bay Area Playwrights Festival (BAPF), featuring playwrights Terence Anthony, Jeesun Choi, Candrice Jones, Tori Keenan-Zelt, christopher oscar peña, and Jonathan Spector. The 2019 Bay Area Playwrights Festival runs July 19-28, 2019 at Potrero Stage, 1895 18th St in San Francisco. In addition to twelve staged readings, the Festival will offer a Theater Professionals weekend 7/27-29, panels, lectures and a kick-off party. Tickets on sale starting June 1st.

Using his background as a forensic geologist and teaming up with eyewitnesses and other experts in their respective fields, Wolter is determined to find new evidence and ultimately the proof that's been buried in time suggesting history isn't what we've been told.

The nationally regarded Fulton Theatre has announced the most exciting season in the theatre's 166-year history! The Fulton "Engages Life Through Art" through three distinct series serving over 160,000 patrons through diverse programing reflecting the broad make-up of the Lancaster community and greater region of eastern Pennsylvania. The 2019-2020 season, with three regional premieres, begins September 17 and continues through July 26.

The Canton Museum of Art (CMA), one of Northeast Ohio's premier American art museums, opens its strong, Midwest-influenced Spring/Summer exhibition season on Friday, May 3rd. Four original exhibitions include: Drafting Dimensions: Contemporary Midwest Ceramics, Between Worlds: John Jude Palencar, Organized Ambiguity: Gridworks of David Kuntzman, and Food for Thought: Celebrating Food in Art from the CMA's Permanent Collection in Collaboration with "Project EAT!". Regular Museum hours are: Tues - Thurs, 10am - 8pm; Fri - Sat, 10am - 5pm; Sun 1 - 5pm; closed Mondays. CMA offers FREE admission every Thursday, every week from 10:00am - 8:00pm, sponsored by PNC Foundation.

Strange Attractor Theatre Company in collaboration with composer Chrissy Wolpert, the Providence Preservation Society and a community chorus of (cis & trans) women, two spirit, and non-binary people will be presenting She Died for Our Convenience at the Earnscliffe/Paragon Mills in Olneyville in Providence on May 4, 2019 at 7pm. A choral haunting, She Died for Our Convenience, was created for the Earnscliff/Paragon Mill buildings within the Providence Preservation Society's Sites and Stories Explored initiative, which pairs artists with endangered properties to explore the hidden and layered narratives to Providence's iconic and abandoned buildings.

Building on the previous success of the “Summer Fun & Games” brand, The ABC Television Network is expanding its slate of game shows to three nights, adding four new exciting series to the upcoming schedule. In addition to bringing back the iconic “Press Your Luck” and “Card Sharks” to TV, ABC will launch two new alternative shows – “Holey Moley,” an epic mini-golf competition featuring NBA superstar Stephen Curry as resident golf pro; and “Family Food Fight,” hosted by renowned restaurateur and New York Times best-selling cookbook author Ayesha Curry. This season at The Studio Theatre we have chosen four stories that search for unity in a nation fighting for common ground. The titles we chose for this upcoming season convey important relationships hurt and broken by divisive opinions of loved ones. Through listening, can we reach across the divide? Hidden Heroes is based on the book Hidden Human Computers: The Black Women of NASA by Sue Bradford Edwards and Duchess Harris, whose grandmother was in the group of the first 11 black women recruited to work at NASA. The production takes audiences on a journey capturing the young girls' brilliance, creativity, and imagination as they break barriers, accomplish the impossible, and become the courageous women who created opportunities that have influenced the industry of space exploration, mathematics & engineering. The world-premiere production will run in our Jaycee Studio from April 26 through May 19, 2019
