A McCallum Theatre holiday tradition, Colors of Christmas, returns on Friday, December 13, at 8:00pm with a new lineup of stars presenting a fantastic evening of holiday music and classics, backed up by a 12-piece band. This year's Colors of Christmas stars are Peabo Bryson, Oleta Adams, Ben Vereen and Jody Watley.

Bette Davis and John Wayne to Bo Diddley and Bob Dylan, the State Theatre in Portland has seen its share of stars since it first opened its doors on November 8, 1929. On Friday, November 8, 2019, the theatre will kick off a celebration of its 90th birthday with a week-long scavenger hunt around Portland with ticket and merchandise giveaways to mark the historic occasion. The New School is proud to announce a series of free public events in recognition of the 80th anniversary of the Kindertransport movement, an organized rescue effort of Jewish children that took place in the months leading up to the outbreak of World War Two. This special multi-day program of performances, screenings, and panel discussions is a collaboration between The New School's College of Performing Arts, The New School for Social Research, the university's Zolberg Institute on Migration and Mobility, and The Kindertransport Association (KTA), a national not-for-profit organization that unites Kindertransport survivors and their descendants.
