​​​​​​​ Unicorn Theatre has announced that Producing Artistic Director Cynthia Levin will retire in June 2024. Levin's departure will culminate a historic run spanning more than four decades at one of Kansas City's landmark theatres, where she gained a regional and national reputation for innovating and bringing to life bold and diverse plays with powerful messages and illuminating people in an empathetic and unique way.

The Schubert Club will be presenting the Bach Collegium Japan was founded in 1990 by Masaaki Suzuki, its inspirational Music Director, with the aim of introducing Japanese audiences to period instrument performances of great works from the baroque period. Comprised of both baroque orchestra and chorus, their activities include an annual concert series of Bach's cantatas and a number of instrumental programmes. The award-winning ensemble has begun to explore classical repertoire, releasing a recording of Mozart's Requiem in November 2014, which they followed up with their recent release of Mozart's Great Mass in C Minor. The recording won the Choral category in the 2017 Gramophone Awards.

The Puerto Rico JazzFest '23 returns with a tribute to internationally acclaimed saxophonist, composer and producer Miguel Zenón. The festival, which runs Friday through Sunday, March 17-19 with the Zenón tribute on Saturday, brings together a stellar roster of artists to honor his extraordinary music.

The Washington Stage Guild will continue its 2022-2023 season, a “Season of Transitions,” with Endgame by Samuel Beckett, directed by Alan Wade. Performances begin January 26 - 28 with four Pay-What-You-Can previews and run until February 19, 2023.

Leeds Playhouse – named the UK's Most Welcoming Theatre at the recent UK Theatre Awards – has announced its Spring/Summer 2023 season of major, state-of-the-world stories, produced with freshness and urgency, and each epic in their own distinctive way.

Overture Center for the Arts and FPC Live present Ani DiFranco with The Righteous Babes Revue: Gracie and Rachel, Pieta Brown, Jocelyn Mackenzie on Saturday, Nov. 5 at 8 p.m. in Capitol Theater.
