Nominees Announced for 20th Annual Golden Trailer Awards

 The Golden Trailer Awards,  the most anticipated, fun and prestigious event honoring marketing executives and companies that create movie trailers, commercials and posters worldwide, today announced nominees in the 20th annual competition.  Evelyn Watters, Golden Trailer Awards Executive Director, proudly announced the 2019 nominees along with the show's executive producer Monica Brady.  #GTA20, will take place on Wednesday, May 29th at The Theatre at the Ace Hotel in Downtown Los Angeles.

Phoenix Chorale Announces Selection Of New Artistic Director

The Phoenix Chorale is proud to announce the five-year appointment of Christopher Gabbitas as Artistic Director beginning with the 2019/20 Season. Gabbitas succeeds Charles Bruffy who led the choir from 1999 until 2017.

Kravis Center Announces Cast For Disney's THE LION KING

Casting has been announced for the premiere engagement of Disney's THE LION KING in West Palm Beach.  THE LION KING will leap onto The Raymond F. Kravis Center for the Performing Arts' Bernard and Chris Marden stage on Wednesday, April 24 for a 2-week engagement through Sunday, May 5.

On Wednesday, April 10, 2019, top comedians and celebrity guests will join sports superstars John and Patrick McEnroe and Andy Cohen at the third annual You Cannot Be Serious! evening of comedy at Carolines on Broadway from 7:30pm to 10:00pm. Proceeds will benefit the Johnny Mac Tennis Project, a transformative youth tennis initiative founded by McEnroe.

Las Vegas Film Festival Announces 2019 Lineup

The 12th Annual Las Vegas Film Festival, presented by Zappos,announced this morning the initial programming lineup for the 2019 Festival, to be held April 28 through May 5. While the majority of the Festival will take place in venues around Downtown Las Vegas, some events will be held at the Brenden Theatres and Palms Casino Resort.

Venetia Stifler, executive and artistic director of the Ruth Page Center for the Arts and the 2019 Ruth Page Award Committee are pleased to announce their selections for this year's Ruth Page Awards. The recipients include Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater and its Artistic Director Robert Battle and Chicago Dance History Project and its Executive and Artistic Director Jenai Cutcher.  The 2019 Awards will be presented immediately before Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's performance celebrating 60 years of Ailey Ascending and the 50th anniversary of the Company's first performance at the Auditorium Theatre, 50 E. Ida B. Wells Dr., Friday, March 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets to the 2019 Ruth Page Awards are $60 and include a private reception at 5:30 p.m. followed by the Ailey performance at 7:30 p.m.  This performance is part of Ravinia's annual Ruth Page Festival of Dance.  Tickets and event information is available at EventBrite.com.
