New York's leading LGBTQ film festival, NewFest, has announced the full lineup of their 31st annual celebration of the year's best LGBTQ films from around the world. As announced earlier this week, the festival will kick off the festival's 31st edition with the New York premiere of Mike Doyle's Manhattan-set ensemble rom-com SELL BY, featuring an eclectic cast including Scott Evans (Netflix's “Grace and Frankie”), Kate Walsh (ABC's “Grey's Anatomy”), Academy Award-nominee and Emmy Award-winner Patricia Clarkson, Michelle Buteau (Netflix's “Tales of the City”) and Augustus Prew (HIGH-RISE), and will close the festival with the New York premiere of Rodrigo Bellott's award-winning film TU ME MANQUES, which was recently announced as Bolivia's submission for Best International Feature Film selection for the 2019 Academy Awards.

The two-disc album was recorded live on the final nights of her 2017 World Tour. Max Hatt / Edda Glass's 'unique sound' (Larry Groce, NPR) and 'incomparable spook" (Nashville Scene) have taken them from playing the Montana restaurant scene to NPR Mountain Stage, New York City's Lincoln Center, D.C.'s The Kennedy Center, the Sundance Film Fest, and Wilco's Solid Sound Festival. Their story comes full circle this summer and fall, when they return to the West to play performing arts centers and venues in Missoula, Helena, Bozeman, Idaho Falls, and Cody, WY. Montanans may remember Max Hatt / Edda Glass as the Brazilian band Rio, featured on Montana-PBS's 11th and Grant Show with Eric Funk. To this tropical repertoire, Max Hatt / Edda Glass will add their award-winning original Jazz Americana, deeply rooted in the Western landscape, as well as their unique interpretations of pop and jazz standards. Porchlight Music Theatre concludes its fifth season of Chicago's "lost" musicals in staged concert series with Porchlight Revisits Do Re Mi, starring Porchlight Music Theatre's Artistic Director Michael Weber and Nancy Voigts, music by Jule Styne, lyrics by Betty Comden and Adolph Green and book by Garson Kanin, with direction and choreography by Christopher Pazdernik and musical direction by David Fiorello. Porchlight Revisits Do Re Mi is presented for three-nights-only Tuesday, May 22 through Thursday, May 24 at 7:15 p.m. and is performed on the set of Porchlight's Memphis (previews begin April 19) at Porchlight's new home, The Ruth Page Center for the Arts, 1016 N. Dearborn Street.
