Abingdon Theatre Company has announced two of the upcoming pieces they are developing through their Around the Table Reading Series.

The final five programs of the Boston Symphony Orchestra’s 2023–2024 season, led by BSO Music Director Andris Nelsons, celebrate the commissioning legacy of Serge Koussevitzky, highlight some of the greatest living composers of our time, and bring acclaimed soloists back to Symphony Hall, including Yuja Wang and Hilary Hahn.  

Initial casting has been announced for the Broadway production of the acclaimed musical TAMMY FAYE. Two-time Olivier Award winner Katie Brayben will recreate her Olivier Award-winning performance as Tammy Faye Bakker, and Tony Award nominee Andrew Rannells will reprise his Olivier-nominated performance as Jim Bakker. TAMMY FAYE will begin preview performances on October 19th and will officially open on November 14th, 2024 at Broadway's Palace Theater.

The North American tour of Back to the Future: The Musical will star Broadway veteran Don Stephenson as “Doc Brown” and newcomer Caden Brauch as “Marty McFly.”

Starring André De Shields (Hadestown, the Wiz) and Ato Blankson-Wood (Cabaret, Hamlet, Slave Play), the podcast is directed by Tony Award-winner Rachel Chavkin (Lempicka, Hadestown), Zhailon Levingston (Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, Chicken & Biscuits), and Keenan Tyler Oliphant (Hadestown, The Broken Ear Set-list).
