Based on the 2005 film by the same name, the musical 'Kinky Boots' tells the story of an unlikely partnership between a failing shoe manufacturer (Charlie) and a fabulous cabaret entertainer (Lola). Although they come from very different worlds, the two realize that they are not so different after all. Playing the challenging role of Lola is New Hampshire native Darius Harper. Working both nationally and internationally, Harper brings years of experience and talent to the Fulton stage.

Ahead of their European and North American tour kick-off, Efterklang have shared concert footage from their performance at this fall's Le Guess Who? festival in Utrecht. The clip, which premiered via Line Of Best Fit, features 3 tracks off their most recent album Altid Sammen (4AD) -- 'Supertanker,' 'Verden Forsvinder' and 'Vi Er Uendelig.' The band's Casper Clausen notes,'We loved this festival so much. The curation is beyond exciting with so many national and regional legends, stars. Many of them had never performed in Europe before, all mixed up with bands like us, Bjørk DJ'ing behind a plant wall and the entire city of Utrecht turned into a festival site. This clip features our wonderful live-band performing songs from our new album Altid Sammen, and although they are in Danish I sincerely hope they translate in wonderful ways, In short they are about coming together and falling apart like cells forming when a baby is created.'

 The Hollywood Film Awards announced today that highly-acclaimed artists Antonio Banderas, Renée Zellweger, Al Pacino and Laura Dern will be honored at the 23rd Annual “Hollywood Film Awards.”  Banderas will receive the “Hollywood Actor Award” for his poignant turn in Pedro Almodóvar's 21st film, “Pain and Glory” and Zellweger will receive the “Hollywood Actress Award” for her powerful portrayal of the iconic Judy Garland in Rupert Goold's “Judy.”  Pacino will receive the “Hollywood Supporting Actor Award” for his brilliant depiction of the infamous Jimmy Hoffa in Martin Scorsese's mob masterpiece “The Irishman,” and Dern will receive the “Hollywood Supporting Actress Award” for her commanding performance as a hard-hitting divorce attorney in Noah Baumbach's “Marriage Story.”  Actor and comedian Rob Riggle will host the ceremony, which will take place on Sunday, November 3, 2019 at The Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, CA.

The musical A Little Princess by Andrew Lippa and Brian Crawley, is based on the 1905 novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett. It first appeared on stage in Mountain View, California in 2004 and premiered in London in 2018. The story opens with Sara Crewe in her room at her school in London. She tells Becky, a maid at the school, about her life growing up in Africa and how she came to be in London. The musical takes the audience on a journey filled with memories, wild flights of imagination, magic, heartbreak, friendship, and love.
