Edmonton Opera Announces 60th Season Lineup

Edmonton Opera has announced that Bizet’s Carmen opens the Diamond Season. Well beloved as the most famous opera of all, Carmen is known for glorious music and a fearless leading lady. Montreal’s Rose Naggar-Tremblay (mezzo soprano) will infuse this role with her rich voice and interpretive prowess as she makes her company debut, as well as her North American role debut.

Door Shakespeare Announces 2023 Summer Season

Door Shakespeare has announced its 2023 summer season: William Shakespeare's As You Like It, and The Old Man and the Old Moon, with book, music, and lyrics by PigPen Theatre Company. Door Shakespeare’s 27th season runs June 28 through August 27, with shows Monday through Saturday: weekdays at 7:30 and Saturdays at 5:00.

Markéta Irglová and Glen Hansard will - once again - be reuniting in celebration of the 15th (and counting) anniversary of their film Once. The duo reconvened for the first time in ten years last March 2022 for a limited number of sold-out shows. The pair will be performing at the Boch Center Wang Theatre on August 11, 2023.
