The Walt Disney Company UK and Ireland has today announced the principal company for the UK and Ireland tour of the landmark musical THE LION KING which will open in Bristol in September 2019 before moving on to Edinburgh in December 2019. Further cities will be announced in due course.

IFC Center today announced an impressive and wide-ranging lineup for the third annual Split Screens Festival (www.splitscreensfestival.com) taking place Wednesday, May 29 through Monday, June 3, 2019, at the IFC Center in New York City. British actor and 2018 Strictly star Charles Venn is to join the cast of SOMNIUM: A Dancer's Dream, the explosive dance show starring World Latin Showdance Champions and Strictly professionals Neil and Katya Jones which comes to Sadler's Wells in London for a limited season from 20 - 22 June 2019. Charles will be taking on the role of Richard Porter, Neil and Katya's former dance coach who narrates the show's story of how a boy from Britain and a girl from Russia met, fell in love and overcame the odds to become dance stars.

Maria Friedman and Anita Dobson join the company of Trevor Nunn's critically acclaimed production of Fiddler on the Roof, which is currently running at the reconfigured Playhouse Theatre until 28 September. The award-winning New York Neo-Futurists are pleased to announce THE INFINITE FAMILY, a special edition of their weekly late-night show, THE INFINITE WRENCH. Producer Judy Craymer paid tribute to the original 'Tanya', Louise Plowright, who sadly passed away in 2016.

Broadway stars Liz McCartney and Bob Stillman will headline Judson Theatre Company's  Souvenir: A Fantasia on the Life of Florence Foster Jenkins by Stephen Temperley. Souvenir is the first production of  Judson Theatre Company's eighth season, opening Thursday, May 9, 2019 and running through Sunday, May 12 at the Hannah Center Theatre.
