In December 1867, Charles Dickens arrives in New York City for a month of sold-out performances of his beloved holiday classic, A Christmas Carol. 

Producers Tim Levy (Director, NT America) and Jordan Roth (President, Jujamcyn Theaters) announced today that the National Theatre Production of Tony Kushner's epic and seminal masterwork, Angels in America: A Gay Fantasia on National Themes, will return to Broadway for the first time since its now-legendary original production opened in 1993. 

The Old Globe presents the first show of its 2017-2018 Season, the world premiere musical Benny & Joon, with book by Kirsten Guenther, music by Nolan Gasser, and lyrics by Mindi Dickstein. A two-part staged reading of Angels in America will be held at the Omaha Community Playhouse as part of the Alternative Programming series. Part One: Millennium Approaches will be held Monday, August 7 at 7:30 p.m. in OCP's Hawks Mainstage Theatre and Part Two: Perestroika will be held on Monday, August 28 at 7:30 p.m. in OCP's Hawks Mainstage Theatre. The showings are free and open to the public with the opportunity for donation. No tickets or reservations are necessary.

This September, the Getty Museum and Chicago-based Court Theatre present Euripides' Iphigenia in Aulis, the twelfth annual outdoor theatrical production in the Barbara and Lawrence Fleischman Theater at the Getty Villa. Directed by Charles Newell, artistic director of Court Theatre, and translated by Nicholas Rudall, founding artistic director of Court Theatre, Iphigenia in Aulis was first presented in 2014 at Court Theatre in Chicago and will be reimagined for the Getty's production.
