Marcie Gorman-Althof and Michael Lifshitz, the producing partners behind MNM Productions, one of South Florida's hottest, award-winning theatre companies, today announced that the Metropolitan Community Church of the Palm Beaches and The Pap Corps, Champions for Cancer Research will be the nonprofit partners for the October 5 preview performance of its next production, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, which will run October 6-22 at the Kravis Center's Rinker Playhouse. York Theatre Company Presents MIDNIGHT AT THE NEVER GET

The York Theatre Company (James Morgan, Producing Artistic Director; Evans Haile, Executive Director), dedicated to the development of new musicals and rediscovery of musical gems from the past, presents the Off-Broadway premiere of the acclaimed new musical Midnight at The Never Get, with book, music, and lyrics by Mark Sonnenblick, co-conceived by Sam Bolen, by arrangement with Visceral Entertainment and Mark Cortale Productions.  Directed by Max Friedman, with choreography by Andrew Palermo, and music direction/arrangements by Adam Podd, the cast will feature Sam Bolen, Jeremy Cohen, and Jon J. Peterson.  Performances begin Tuesday, October 2, 2018 for a limited engagement through Sunday afternoon, November 4, 2018 at The York Theatre Company at Saint Peter's (entrance on East 54th Street, just east of Lexington Avenue). Taken from the Liza Minelli song in the 1977 movie musical 'New York, New York', this two hour revue covers songs from twelve musical productions, woven together - with no plot - to feature a cast of five artists playing all the characters. From roller skating in 'The Rink', to luring the audience in 'Kiss of the Spiderwoman', and dancing around to 'Liza With a 'Z', this show is a non-stop ride for the performers and an evening full of entertainment for the audience. The Schimmel Center presents American Dance Spectacular! on Saturday, October 21 at 7:30 p.m., exploring the history of American popular dance throughout the 20th century, including the Charleston, Lindy hop, jitterbug, twist, voguing, and more. The performance is directed, co-written and created by Daniel C. Levine (Broadway's Les Mis rables, Chicago, and Mamma Mia!) with choreography by Al Blackstone (Fox's So You Think You Can Dance), music direction by Bryan Perri (Broadway's Wicked and Next to Normal), and book by Susan Batten (Lifetime's Showing Roots) together with six Broadway dancers backed by three vocalists and a live band.
