GINGER THATCHER, former principal dancer of the Cleveland Ballet, will be a guest teacher from March 23-27, 2020, and VIOLETA ANGELOVA, former principal dancer of the Suzanne Farrell Ballet, will be a guest teacher from July 20-August 1, 2020 at the Goh Ballet Academy. VIOLETA ANGELOVA, YVES DE BOUTEILLER, KEITH LEE AND IAN POULIS will be members of the faculty for the Shreveport Dance Academy's Summer Intensive in Shreveport, Louisiana. Ms. Angelova and Mr. de Bouteiller will be teaching from June 3-7, 2019, and Mr. Lee and Mr. Poulis will be teaching from June 10-14, 2019.

New York City Ballet will open its 2019-20 Season at Lincoln Center on Tuesday, September 17 with George Balanchine's full-length Jewels. The season will continue with 21 weeks of performances, through Sunday, May 31, and will feature 54 ballets and choreography by 12 different choreographers.

Orchestra of St. Luke's (OSL) today announced a new initiative, a three-week, multi-disciplinary Bach Festival featuring 15 concerts across three venues in Manhattan, June 6-22, 2019. The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra Presents Bach's Complete Brandenburg Concertos May 17–20 in Newark, Princeton, Red Bank and New Brunswick. Concertmaster Eric Wyrick explores performance practices from Baroque to contemporary as he leads his colleagues. NJSO musicians perform solo roles in the six concertos, each of which is scored for a different combination of instruments.

The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra hosts its 2018 Spring into Music Gala on Saturday, April 14, at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. A founding resident company of The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, The Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia (COP) announces its fourth concert in their Improvisionaries season: Brillhart: All Baroque. For this concert, COP will present one of the world's leading improvisers on the keyboard, Philadelphia's Jeffery Brillhart, as he conducts and plays music of J.S. and C.P.E Bach, and Rameau. In addition to spotlighting the Baroque art of figured bass, embellishment and ornamentation, Brillhart will perform his own improvisations on themes heard in the concert as a centerpiece of the program.

As The Music Center wraps up its 14th season of Glorya Kaufman Presents Dance at The Music Center, Angelenos have the opportunity to see some of the world's finest dancers perform a mix of iconic ballets and new pieces in The Music Center's BalletNOW.  Following the popularity of the first BalletNOW in 2015, The Music Center commissioned this highly innovative three-performance program, featuring international ballet sensation and New York City Ballet Principal Tiler Peck as curator.  Peck created a mixed repertory to highlight the versatility and athleticism of today's ballet dancers including pieces that pair classical dancers with their contemporaries in other dance genres.
