Following the story of The “Classic Five” Temptations, this 2017 musical brings to life the powerhouse group that we all know, love, and recognize. From their origination in Detroit to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, we are taken through how they each met, their personal afflictions and everything in between that tore the group apart.

On September 12th, AIN’T TOO PROUD: THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS presented by Broadway Across Canada premiered at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre in Vancouver. Playing a total of 6 shows with the last being on Sunday September 17th, the touring production of AIN’T TOO PROUD brought the energy, passion, and nostalgia to audiences this week.

Segerstrom Center for the Performing Arts has announced full casting for the First National Tour of Ain't Too Proud - The Life and Times of the Temptations, coming to Segerstrom Hall for two weeks, from October 17-29, 2023. Learn more about who is starring in the show here!

Ain’t Too Proud is a 2018 Jukebox Musical with original music and lyrics by the Temptations and a book written by Dominique Morisseau. It opened on Broadway at the Imperial Theatre in March of 2019.

AIN'T TOO PROUD – THE LIFE AND TIMES OF THE TEMPTATIONS will make its anticipated Miami premiere at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County  from May 9 – 14, 2023.
