The American Film Institute (AFI) announced today the first wave of guest presenters who will celebrate Denzel Washington at the 47th AFI Life Achievement Award on June 6, 2019, at a Gala Tribute in Los Angeles. Chadwick Boseman, Jodie Foster, Jamie Foxx, Morgan Freeman (2011 honoree), Michael B. Jordan, Issa Rae, Julia Roberts and Cicely Tyson will all be in attendance to pay tribute to Washington's life and work. In addition, multitalented film, television and music video artist Melina Matsoukas (AFI Class of 2005) will receive the 2019 Franklin J. Schaffner Alumni Medal, recognizing her extraordinary creative talents.  

NBC has tied for #1 among the Big 4 networks in primetime results for the week of April 29-May 5 in the key demographic of adults 18-49, according to “live plus same day” viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research. NBC also tied for the weeklong win in adults 18-34 and adults 25-54 and led the week outright in all key adult-female demos.

NBC has averaged a 0.7 rating in adults 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall for the primetime ratings week of April 8-14, according to “live plus same day” viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research.

The Warner Theatre's 21st Annual Gala will be held on Saturday, May 18th at 5:30 pm in the Carole and Ray Neag Performing Arts Center. NBCUniversal Domestic TV Distribution announced today "The Kelly Clarkson Show" has been sold to the NBC Owned Television Station group for its fall 2019 debut. The station group is part of NBCUniversal Owned Television Stations' division of NBCUniversal. 

NBC has delivered a decisive ratings victory for the primetime week of Sept. 10-16, led by top-15 results for “Sunday Night Football,” two nights of “America's Got Talent” and season finales of “American Ninja Warrior” and “World of Dance,” according to “live plus same day” viewership figures from Nielsen Media Research.
