Wildstreet will kick off their first set of US tour dates since 2012 on February 20th at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY. The show will be the release party for their upcoming single, 'Born To Be'. The band has also announced tour dates in Colombia and Mexico in April. The band plans to be on tour for the rest of the year. We will announce dates as they are confirmed.

Jonathan Hadary has received the annual St. Clair Bayfield Award presented by the Actors' Equity Foundation for his performance as Sicinius Velutus in The Public Theatre's Shakespeare in the Park Coriolanus. The announcement was made by Judy Rice, President of the Foundation, and Joan Glazer, Managing Director.

The Airborne Toxic Event has announced North American tour dates in support of their landmark new album. The tour starts May 27 at Van Buren in Phoenix, AZ and ends with a very special performance with the SF Symphony at Davies Hall on August 1. The Los Angeles-based band's sixth LP and first new music in half a decade, HOLLYWOOD PARK is out Friday, May 8 via Rounder Records. Pre-sale for the tour begins this Wednesday, November 20 through the band's site with the tickets being available Friday, November 22.

Midlands-based independent producing studio China Plate today announces the shows it will present during Autumn 2019. Following a run in Summerhall's Main Hall during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe (31 Jul -25 Aug), Caroline Horton's All of Me (the possibility of future splendour) will have a three-week run at East London's The Yard Theatre from 10 - 28 September.

Lacuna Coil and All That Remains announce Disease Of The Anima co-headline tour presented by Revolver. The tour includes special guests Bad Omens, Toothgrinder (9/15-10/10), Eximious (10/11-10/19), and Uncured. Tickets for the tour go on sale starting July 26th at 12PM local time. Mark Morris Dance Group & Music Ensemble returns to Jacob's Pillow's Ted Shawn Theatre, July 17-21, restaging both new and beloved repertory. 'A tour de force of artistic storytelling' (The Los Angeles Times), this audience favorite is renowned for deeply witty and poetic dance and has amassed one of the most extensive Pillow performance records of any artist. Mark Morris Dance Group & Music Ensemble performs Prelude and Prelude-a work that has not been performed anywhere since 1992-the new work Sport, excerpts from Words, and the company classic Grand Duo.

Numi Opera began its inaugural season with Alexander Zemlinsky's almost forgotten Der Zwerg (The Dwarf), a piece once condemned by the Nazi Third Reich. Outfest – the Los Angeles based non-profit organization promoting equality by creating, sharing, and protecting LGBTQ stories on the screen – today announced its 2019 Achievement Award recipient, Nisha Ganatra, and its galas, including Opening and Closing Night, for the 2019 Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival, presented by HBO. The nation's premiere LGBTQ festival will be held July 18-28, 2019.

Numi Opera and its inaugural production -- Alexander Von Zemlinsky's Der Zwerg based on a story by Oscar Wilde -- is announced. Directed by Numi Opera Executive Director Gail R. Gordon with musical direction by Christopher Luthi, the rarely performed opera will have two performances on Thursday, May 30 at 7:30pm and Sunday, June 2 at 2:00pm at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, located at 929 South Broadway in downtown Los Angeles.

Today, Luther Burbank Center for the Arts (LBC) announced the first 11 new shows to be added to its 2019 2020 season, continuing its tradition of showcasing a diverse lineup of chart-topping musicians, compelling dance companies, and groundbreaking storytellers. The treasured tale by Hans Christian Andersen of a wise bird that helps save a kingdom gets a new twist in this adaptation set in 18th-century China. The West Coast Premiere of The Emperor's Nightingale by Damon Chua, directed by Tim Dang, opens May 4th and runs through May 19th at the Lewis Family Playhouse. Tickets are priced at $18.00 for General admission, and $16.00 for Seniors and Youth up to age 12.
