La Boîte à musique (BAM), where it all began for a multitude of Quebec artists, musicians and bands, is undergoing a major rejuvenation process. Located in 2222 Ontario Street East for 30 years, the BAM is moving its offices to Cité 2000 and will be ready for the new school year.

The Tony-nominated Best Revival, TAKE ME OUT, will host a special post-show talkback on Tuesday, May 17 featuring members of the cast; Billy Bean, one of only two Major League Baseball players to come out as gay; as well as sports journalists Howard Bryant and Kat O’Brien.

Fenix Theatre Collaborative makes its theatrical debut with BLUE/ORANGE at the Tenth Avenue Arts Center. The intense dramatic comedy may have been written in 2000, but this compelling production shows just how relevant the issues it tackles still are today. BLUE/ORANGE is playing through Saturday, April 16th.

It’s the core concept of Shelagh Stephenson’s multi-awarded play, The Memory of Water. Premiered in 1996 on the Hampstead Theatre stage, it went on to win an Olivier in 2000, debut in the States, tour internationally, and even landed on the big screen in 2002 titled Before You Go directed by Lewis Gilbert.
