Following the success of Noël Coward's Private Lives in September which raised £44,000 for the Royal Theatrical Fund, Lockdown Theatre today announces a live virtual table read of The Real Inspector Hound by Tom Stoppard, in association with The Royal Theatrical Fund. It features a score by Richard Adler and Jerry Ross. The story deals with labor troubles in a pajama factory, where worker demands for a seven-and-a-half cents raise are going unheeded. In the midst of this ordeal, love blossoms between Babe, the grievance committee head, and Sid, the new factory superintendent. The original production won a Tony for Best Musical, and the 2006 Broadway revival won a Tony Award for Best Revival of a Musical.

The Broadway community mourns the loss of prolific producer, director, writer, and the individual recipient of the most Tony Awards in multiple categories in history, Harold Prince, who passed away on July 31, 2019 at age 91. To commemorate his life and work, the Committee of Theatre Owners will dim the lights of Broadway theatres in New York for one minute on Wednesday, July 31 at exactly 7:45pm.

Lane as 'Paul,' Stephanie Styles as 'Lois Lane/Bianca,' Adrienne Walker as 'Hattie,' Lance Coadie Williams as 'Gangster (Second Man)' and John Pankow as 'Gangster (First Man).'

Kiss Me, Kate is coming back to Broadway with favorite Tony winning soprano Kelli O'Hara leading the cast alongside Will Chase. Roundabout revealed the new artwork for the show, watch the video below to get a behind the scenes look at its making!
