The Colony Theatre in Burbank has announced The Colony Comedy Series - Hosted by Damon Williams, three evenings of non-stop laughter beginning on Friday, April 17, and continuing on Friday, June 26, and Saturday, August 22. Curtain will be at 8pm for all three shows.

The British musical phenomenon turned global smash hit SIX, written by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, is extending its reign on tour through to Christmas 2021. Since opening in Guildford in October 2019, SIX has sold out at every venue and the nation is demanding more! The extension kicks off with a two week run at Oxford Playhouse on 13 August 2020 and will enjoy new and return visits to venues countrywide including The Lowry, Salford Quays where it will play for a six-week Christmas season from 1 December to 10 January 2021. Watch this space for the new cast announcement. Once again, the Queens will be backed by the show's all female band, The Ladies in Waiting.

Rebuild Foundation, the arts, education and cultural development organization committed to transforming urban communities, announced today that Jenn Freeman, acclaimed Chicago-based performance artist otherwise known as Po'Chop, will be the 2020 Chicago Dancemakers Forum Artist in Residence at Rebuild and will offer two unique dance series, featuring a monthly burlesque classes and a burlesque showcase, as well as an artist talk that explores the themes of Blackness and pin-up culture through the lens of the works in the Johnson Publishing Company Library at the Stony Island Arts Bank. Rebuild and Chicago Dancemakers Forum partner to support the residency. Their residency will culminate in December 2020.

Vineyard Theatre presents Dana H.,playing until Sunday, March 29. Dana H., by Lucas Hnath, adapted from interviews with Dana Higginbotham conducted by Steve Cosson, and directed by Les Waters. Dana H. began previews on February 11 with Deirdre O'Connell reprising the title role for the New York premiere direct from engagements at Center Theatre Group and The Goodman Theatre. Supporting acts James Arthur, Ryan Hurd and Caitlyn Smith are confirmed for select dates. Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater has announced the company for Toni Stone, written by Arena alumna resident playwright Lydia R. Diamond. Set in the 1950s, Toni Stone was the first woman to play baseball in the Negro Leagues, also making her the first woman to play professionally in a men's league. Five-piece punk band Spanish Love Songs have announced their first headlining U.S. tour for this spring. It will follow their current tour, supporting The Wonder Years, and will kick off on April 16 in Minneapolis, MN and will wrap up about a month later on May 13 in Portland, OR.
