Previews are now underway for the Broadway premiere of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child at the Lyric Theatre in New York City. A play in two parts, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has its first preview of Part One tonight, Friday, March 16 at 8:00 PM, with the first preview of Part Two tomorrow, Saturday, March 17 at 8:00 PM. The production officially opens on Sunday, April 22 at the Lyric Theatre (214 West 43rd Street, New York, NY).

The April issue of Vogue has got a bit more magic than usual thanks to a little show called Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

Individual tickets for The Cher Show, the new musical based on the life and six-decade career of the iconic singer and actress, will go on-sale this Friday, March 23. The Cher Show will have its Pre-Broadway Premiere at Broadway In Chicago's Oriental Theatre for a limited-engagement June 12 through July 15, 2018.

Producers Flody Suarez and Jeffrey Seller announced today the design team for The Cher Show including legendary costume designer and longtime Cher collaborator Bob Mackie. The Cher Show, the new musical based on the life and career of the iconic singer and actress, will have its Pre-Broadway Premiere in Chicago with previews beginning on June 12, 2018 at Broadway In Chicago's Oriental Theatre (24 W. Randolph).

Rehearsals began this week for the third West End cast of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child who will start their performances at the Palace Theatre in London on 23 May 2018 following the final performance from the current cast on 20 May 2018.

Sonia Friedman Productions and the National Theatre today (12 March 2018) announce the West End production of Nina Raine's Consent following the 2017 critically acclaimed sell-out run at the Dorfman Theatre. Directed by Roger Michell and originally co-produced and commissioned by Out of Joint, Consent will begin previews at the Harold Pinter Theatre on 18 May for a strictly limited 12-week run. Opening night will take place on 29 May with booking through to 11 August 2018. Tickets for this West End transfer - with over 14,000 priced at £25 or under - will go on public sale on Thursday 15 March 2018 at 10am.

Today, Elaine Paige and Alexandra Burke announced the nominations for the Olivier Awards 2018 with Mastercard, UK's most prestigious stage honours. The 2018 awards are set to be an exciting occasion with original new work dominating the categories and a significant number of artists receiving their first ever Olivier nominations. Catherine Tate will host the Awards at the Royal Albert Hall on Sunday 8 April and they will be broadcast to the UK and worldwide.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. In honor of Black History Month, the Orleans Parish School Board (OPSB) and Broadway in New Orleans have partnered together to give 30 McMain High School students an exclusive opportunity to hear a reading of Alice Walker's Pulitzer Prize-winning novel THE COLOR PURPLE from cast members of the Tony Award-winning Broadway show.
