Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) is offering two sensory-friendly performances of its holiday classic, The Nutcracker, this year.  The relaxed performances will take place at 2:00 p.m. on Fri., Dec. 16 and Tues., Dec. 27. These family-inclusive and sensory-friendly  events are for all audiences, including children and adults with autism spectrum disorder, sensory sensitivities or other individualized needs. 

Eddie Cooper, Lilli Cooper and Jennifer Sánchez will join Santino Fontana for Red Bull Theater's all-star benefit performance of Your Own Thing, the 1968 hit Off-Broadway rock musical suggested by Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. This one-night-only performance will take place Monday December 12th at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre at Symphony Space.

The award-winning New York Neo-Futurists announced the world premiere production of TRY THIS ON FOR ME, a new full-length immersive play created by ensemble member Lee LeBreton with collaborators Anooj Bhandari and Nicole Hill, directed by Dan Rogers. 

WHIST is an ambitious and extraordinary Virtual Reality meets promenade theatre experience created by UK-based dance company AΦE. Incorporating 360˚ interactive film, soundscapes and an architectural art installation, this pioneering prodction creates an environment that blurs all boundaries – between consciousness and unconsciousness, reality and fiction, the physical and the virtual. 

The Jerry Ensemble Cabaret is back! On Tuesday, April 26 at 7 p.m., members of the Southern Wisconsin Jerry Ensemble will dazzle audience members in a 75-minute cabaret-style performance in Overture Center’s Promenade Hall.

A group of local volunteers have been trained in Oral History methods and are currently interviewing various people around the City with stories to tell about the Theatre. So far they have collected interviews from past audience members, technicians and actor Tony Adams (Crossroads) all talking fondly about their memories of the theatre at that time.

The Annual Los Angeles Short Film and Script Festival is set to screen a special two day event at Santa Monica's iconic Promenade Playhouse August 14th & 15th, announced today by Festival Director Mark Mos. The Promenade Playhouse is part of Actress, Director Natalia Lazarus' Los Angeles Performing Arts Conservatory, celebrating its 25th Anniversary this year.

These funds are directed to ensuring the Theatre's solvency, and supporting it to make work to reach as many people as possible, of all different ages, during this period of instability.

Pitlochry Festival Theatre announces it will close its Summer Season with the Première of Jo Clifford and Lesley Orr's The Covid Requiem, a beautiful and poignant new promenade production commissioned by the theatre, which will see a ceremony performed, from the 15-18 September, to mourn and celebrate the  stories  and lives of those lost during the pandemic.
